Project Description

ACS provided structural detailing services to its client for the construction of a Morrisons Supermarket in Cardiff, Wales. The steel structure consisted of approx. 700 tonnes of hot rolled steel, including Westok cell beams to the first floor and roof of the sales floor area. The project was divided into 18 phases and delivered to site in 28 lots of steel.

Scope of Work

• Modelling and detailing of all steelwork
• Liaise with the main contractor, design team and steel fabricator
• Provide material lists for procurement
• Provide fabrication drawings
• Provide General Arrangement drawings for erection
